Display Issue - Horizontal blue lines in application windows

Definitely not contained in Chrome, happened to me on Safari aswell. Apple has some answering to do. Can't believe it's happening on a 16" MacBook pro which costs a fair amount to say the least.

I guess its the problem with HardWare acceleration. I am having similar problems in 2015's model too after the last update 2020-002.

Apple might fix it in the new update for Catalina.

This worked for me. Guess the issue is with OpenGL? I noticed that Micrsoft Edge does the same thing but I've never seen it in Safari.

Blue lines appeared again.. had to reset PRAM.

I guess I was too optimistic .

@KarenK35 you can disable hardware acceleration in settings for Teams as well.

Well, Big Sur Beta 1, and Beta 2 worked great and resolved the display corruption issue. Big Sur Beta 3 however brought the issue back :(

I have the exact same set up and the same experience - leave it running for a few days and boom - blue lines are in!

restart/reboot the system and we are back to clear screens.

I turned off the acceleration mode in Brave/Chrome as recommended here.

Good advise! It worked for me :)

Have you all tried resetting the PRAM yet? That worked for me.

I also have the same problems with my MBP 16 "with the Radion Pro 5500m! Turning off hardware acceleration solves the problem. Apple what's going on !! Don't you want to help us !?

It affects all programs that are using hardware acceleration, because the error is in the hardware/driver.

How is it possible that Apple has still not fixed this bug?!!

2. Notion.so Version 2.0.8 (2.0.8)

anyone else had this while using external display? it seems when I unplug my external display it solves
