Display Issue - Horizontal blue lines in application windows

As you can see from the image below I have blue horizontal lines appearing within my Chrome application window

2019 Macbook Pro 16

The application is the latest build of Chrome Version 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)

It has happened 3 times now - each time appear to be after the laptop has been left running overnight.

Not it is not the full display affected only the application window. I've also only seen this in the chrome browser (I've also posted this to the Chrome support site) it sometimes goes away simply by killing Chrome but this time required a reboot.

Anyone seen this before - got any ideas??

Same problem here on a brand new MacBook Pro.

Putting my Mac to sleep every night and using external monitore.

How long does it take until Apple finally fix this issue??!

I have the same problem with a new company-administered laptop - using Vivaldi & Chrome

Rebooting seems to fix it - without the need to reset NVRAM/PRAM

Very, very annoying

I'm in chrome flags, and I do not see an option for Metal, even when i search for it....

I have the same issue on my 16" Macbook Pro, but only in WhatsApp for macOS. Really strange. I'll try a NVRAM/PRAM reset now.

I have random restarts and blue lines... Lucky me, also 16 inch MacBook Pro and just updated Catalina 10.15.4 19E287.

Apple, please fix this!!!

Exact same issue for me and the only other person on my team who has a 16" 2019 mbp with latest updates.

Are you saying that the NVRAM reset you did initially wasn't done correctly and that talking with support got the NVRAM reset to actually do a reset (and now you are waiting to see if that works)?

Yes, the second time doing the NVRAM reset it took longer to start, that makes me think the first time it was not done correctly. So far no blue lines anymore.
