I am trying to upload an app on my IPad and the only password I have is not working. What do I need to do to get a new one?

Can’t use my password to update an app Hi. I am trying to update an app on my iPad Pro, but it asks me to type in the password for my Apple ID. I’ve tried many times but it still didn’t work with the password I used, so I reset the password. But then it wouldn’t accept the new password I set either, so now I am unsure of what to do. Can't update frequently used apps on iPhone, as originally downloaded on very old defunked apple ID When I try to update some iPhone apps, the App Store requires the password of an apple ID that is no longer functional. It is years old, and I no longer know the password.

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
