I'm reading a book on my iPhone but its not showing on my ipad

I understand that it’s not in your library on your iPad but to check if it’s in your Purchased History, select Reading Now and tap on your profile and see if it shows in your purchases. Check on both devices. If it’s not showing offload the app and reinstall (no data will be lost).
We have family sharing and I think I bought it on my iPhone, which is my profile, and the ipad is my wife's profile. If that's why, can it be shared on my wife's account, who I think is the master account, even if I bought it?
Perhaps try a forced restart of both your iPad and iPhone.

On both your iPad and iPhone enable the following:
Settings > Books > [Syncing]
I tried that and switched both devices off and then on. The book is still not listed in my ipad library or reading now. Help please????

If it was purchased from the Book Store, look in your Purchased History in Books on the iPad.
I purchased it in ibooks on my iPhone but its not showing in my library on the ipad for some reason. Thanks for trying to help
