Does any one have this error and knows how to solve it?
I am trying to update my macbook pro 2017 from 10.14.6 Mojave to Catalina 10.15.4 using Software Update from the system preferences. After downloading it, it shows an error message "macos 10.15 Catalina installer is blocked and will be deleted. Please await future release.".

One thing you could try is booting into Safe Mode (hold down the shift key when you restart your Mac and let go when you see the login window and trying the update this way.

Since you're calling it an updater, I have to guess you've downloaded the wrong item. You can't apply an update to a previous OS. You need the full installer.
