My Macbook Pro 16" is crashing while its at sleep, when it's getting charged. Can someone please help me with this issue.

Since the start of the discussion here, I think I was able to workaround the issue by doing 2 things:

  • Disabling Power Nap on System Preferences -> Energy Saver;
  • Changing the hibernatemode value to 0 (default is 3) (value 0 may be not suitable for everyone).


Since I've done these two steps, I didn't have any unexpected shutdown, even with an external display connected.

I don't know if this workaround is 100% reliable, but I've left my MacBook turned on for the last 7 nights, and I didn't have any unexpected shutdown.
