I own a MacBook Air and currently I have the High Sierra Software, I don't want to download Catalina but I keep seeing. this error ( how to fix the error the iphone could not be restored declined to authorize the image on this device for this user ) how can I fix it? and do I have to install Catalina, I am trying to downgrade my iPhone Xs from 1.13.4 to 1.13.3 is it possible?

Yes. I'm positive. Downgrading iOS has never been supported at all.

Apple is no longer signing older versions of iOS.

You can't do that.

You can ONLY install the current version of iOS for your device.

For an iPhone XS, that would be iOS 13.4.

Are you sure about that? I did already download a IPSW file that can be installed on my iPhone using my Mac and I do think it is possible, after I downloaded it I just hold alt and press restore and choose the file
