My Mac book air suddenly logged out of gmail and I did something to the proxy settings and now it keeps asking me for the passed for my key chain and I can’t get onto the internet or get the little boxes asking for key chain passwords to disappear. It now won’t let me login or even type into the password box.
It seems the first problem is that you can't log in because nothing appears in the password entry field.

Hi thanks for your reply. How do you use safe mode? When the little box comes up for me to type the password in I can’t type anything it’s just shows the little line and flickers
Thanks so much. I have gotten into the settings now. Which Proxy should I choose. It keeps going to one that says socks.
Great so I don’t choose any I just tick the box underneath
