Normal formatting after adding columns

I am working on my resume. The "Skills" area is formatted to two columns. How do I return back to normal formatting AFTER the columns, and remain on the same page?

If I add a page or section break it automatically moves me to the following page.

I cannot see the full content of a column in pages I have a document that has info in columns and I cannot see all the info. It blocks it off after a page is done. How can I change the formatting to see all the content and make it flow to another page instead of cutting it off?

Can't change column width from Pages template Wow, I thought I was a full-on Pages expert (I actually teach it to others!), but this one has me baffled. I'm creating a new doc based from a Pages (v8.0 -6194) "Informal Resume" template, and can not widen the column width of the main body. The header width is fine, and I can adjust that as normal to any width. But the body column seems tied to the header width, about 1.5" less on the right side. I've looked through every feature I know. The page size, etc. The column is set to 1, and 5.9722" and can not be changed. Are built-in templates a different kind of page that has things that can't be altered?

column formatting with pages Sporadically the column formatting formats an entire page or document instead of just the material I am planning to format into two columns. Previously I could fiddle with the format invisibles and fix this, but not today. The help material alludes to an inspector tool about which I found the documentation to be useless. It is not on the upper right of my screen nor can I identify it by any search on the screen. The toolbar does not have it. Apparently this tool has been "re engineered" for simplicity. It is truly simply. Simply unfathomable. I am using a Macbook and Pages for my document. Does anybody know how to fix this problem and please explain in non-technical English? Thank you I hate Word--please don't suggest changing.
