On chrome and some other apps, mainly the GOG store client, purple lines show up on the window. This does not happen every time and after a restart it resolves the problem for a little while. I have tested it on a separate display and it is not just the native display on the laptop. Here is an example of the issue in a screenshot.

Same problem as well. I have tested other browsers and apps and I personally am only getting it in chrome. It just recently did this and it seems to have started after I did the lasted Catalina update. Not sure if its a chrome bug or Mac OS bug.
I have the exact same issue! Pretty much only happens on Chrome, and I am on a MBP 16 as well.
