Every time I open the books app, it wants to download two other apps Ive long since disposed of. How do I make it stop? It will do it every time. I have to cancel and delete the download over and over.

Are you sure its not just downloading a couple books for those games?
As I said, ibooks does not install anything. It can't.
Can you maybe post a screenshot of it installing the apps?
What exactly does it do?

Do you by any chance have Automatic Downloads for Apps (not App updates) turned on in Settings->iTunes & App Store?
Going out on a limb here, but turn on Automatic downloads for Apps, then restart your iPad, then turn the automatic downloads switch back off?
I assume you mean you are letting the download complete, and then deleting the downloaded app, but will happen again the next time you open the Books app?
Just tried turning them all on, holding power/volume down until it turned off, turning it back on, then turning off all the auto downloads and starting up books again. Still get the prompt ;n; I think it’s a lost cause, but I thank you for your attention. I suppose, if nothing else, it will promote me to read more at a time, so I don’t have to delete and cancel all the things 800 times :P

That's a bit strange. iBooks does not install apps in any way.
What exactly is it trying to install?
What message do you get when you open the Books App?
Well, it tries to download two games, clue and gwent. The only notification I recieve is the typical « do wish to download using cellular data or later on wifi ».
Oddly enough, turning off automatic app updates prevents me from receiving the message, despite having automatic updates turned off for books already :/
I lied, its doing it again :(
Yeah, it’s over 3 gigs of stuff and I certainly was never interested enough to acquire reading material for them.
Still does it :/
