How to remove Container disk and restore disk to original setting

I have messed up my disk partitions while trying to reinstall (recover iOS High Sierra). My hard drive should be 500gb but only shows as 90 GB in About This Mac. When I try to repartition the drive, it gives me an error message.

I would like to reset my hard drive to factory and reinstall the iOS so that it shows all of the 500gb.

Boot from Recovery Mode or a macOS USB installer and use Disk Utility to erase the whole physical SSD as GUID partition and MacOS Extended (Journaled). Then either reinstall macOS or restore from a backup.

Keep in mind this procedure will destroy all data on the SSD so make sure to have good verified working backups before proceeding.
