Camera Roll Blurry

My iCloud storage is running low, but my camera roll images are all blurry.

I have tried syncing but couldn't fix this. I can still save new items there that aren't blurry. How can I fix my camera roll?

iPhone XS, iOS 13

Hey there emmagrivell,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand your photos are appearing blurry on your iPhone. I’ll be happy to help with this.

One reason this may be happening could be due to your device storage. If you use iCloud Photos and have the Optimize iPhone Storage feature enabled, ‘smaller, space-saving photos and videos are kept on your device while all of your original, full-resolution versions are stored in iCloud.’

You can read more about this here:

Manage your photo and video storage

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

With iCloud Photos and Optimize Storage, you’ll want to make sure you have a good network connection as well. Try accessing your photos from a different network (cellular data or Wi-Fi) and see if this has any impact on the issue.

Also, making sure your iPhone is up to date may help:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you’re up to date, restart and see if this helps:

Restart your iPhone

Regards.
