Apple Maps a single dark area (rectangle)

On apple maps a particular area about 10km by 25 km is darkened. All the rest displays normally. This dark rectangle appears in exactly the same place on both my iPhone 8 and my Macbook Air. The rectangle covers the area of Erlangen and Nuremberg (Nürnberg), towns in Bavaria, Germany. Any ideas why ? And how to get rid of it ?

google maps making carplay lag I have been using google maps to connect to my KIA carplay. The maps will work fine for about 2 minutes then my map lags. My car is ahead of were Google Maps thinks I am by about a minute. This also happens with Waze. It also makes switching over to other car play apps extremely slow almost not possible. If I use Apple Maps this doesn't happen but I don't like the Apple Maps. I've reset my phone connections. Deleted the saved car from CarPlay. All my location settings have been reset and updated. Apple CarPlay Lag My maps in Apple CarPlay start lagging once I start driving. The maps are like a mile behind where I actually am. I drive a Kia k5 2023. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Apple Maps Defaults to Transit Directions on iPhone I have checked the Apple Maps preferences/settings and "Driving" is the selected preference on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. But on my iPhone Apple Maps always defaults to "Transit" directions, on the Mac and iPad it defaults to "Driving". Any ideas how to fix? I have a 12 Pro Max and I'm on iOS 16.0.
