Created a icloud for my son- old iphone

I gave my son my old iphone, created his own icloud. My pics, message and etc. are still on the phone. Am i able to delete without loosing it all on my current phone?

iPhone 5c, iOS 10

Before you gave him the phone, you should have done this...

Now you will have to manually remove your data from his phone.

Not if his phone is signed in to iCloud using his Apple ID. Your iCloud account should not be impacted.

Your data is actually on his iCloud account and will be removed from his iCloud account.
