Restoring iPhone 11

My daughter entered the password too many times and has locked the iPhone 11. I've connected it to iTunes, hit the volume up, down, and power off button to get it into the restore screen on the phone while it is connected to iTunes. I've done the update and download process. When I get into the actual restore process, while extracting the data, the phone times out, shuts off and then loses connection with iTunes. Once iTunes actually completes the extraction process, it says it can't find the device.

I've tried this about 15 times with the same result. Are there any other suggestions to get this thing to restore back to the original screen and I can then install from a backup? Thank you.

Try updating iTunes and your pc to the newest version.

I would also try using a different cable.
