iPhone 11 - Calendar - Weekly Repeat Start Date

Hi All,

I have never used an iPhone before so bear with me.

I am based in the UK

When I make a repeating calendar item using my iPhone, when it asks me to pick which days I want it to repeat on, the selection starts on Sunday as the first date, not Monday.

I have set my locations to UK, but this does not seem to change it.

Can anyone help me please?

Appointments in different time zones I have an I-phone 14 pro. I’ve kept it utd as of 09/09/23. I travel frequently. Often while in one time zone I schedule something which will occur in a different time zone. I have found that calendar auto”corrects” the time I enter to the time that it would be were I still in the time zone where it was scheduled. The solution offered was to turn off the automatic time zone correction. That is, however, very convenient for other purposes. Switching back and forth would be cumbersome. How do you deal with this issue?

time zone query It seems that neither of the choice for time zones suits my needs. If I have the NY override on, then everything goes to the NY time zone, even if I'm making a new appointment from overseas and want it to show the overseas time. If I leave the override off, it shows everything in the local time, even if it's an event I want to set up for NY. So, what I really need is a setting that will keep the time that I put in, not change it whether I'm in NY, France, London, Thailand or anywhere else. I want to know that the time is correct for wherever the event will take place - even if made from a different country. How can I get the calendar to accommodate me? Rochelle G. Please go to Settings > Calendar > Start Week On > {Select what you want]

Monday is selected. Indeed, on the weekly calendar view, Monday is the starting date.
