ipad 6 display with dim spots and fluctuation in brightness

my iPad 6 recently when I use it in low brightness at night, I came to notice some dark spots and later when I checked it was purely noticeable in white colours and later when I used the iPad more and more it became more visible like a issue with backlight at certain intervals and then I checked with my friends who are having the same model of iPad and all three of them were having the issues and that is when everyone came to notice it and if we use the iPad for longer times in full brightness the brightness just fluctuates randomly. All the iPad is not having any water damage history or drops and is well protected from day 1 and used it with a screen protector and case so this leads me to think its some kind of display manufacturing issue also this can be seen clearly in a white background while lowering the display

I have the same issue, black patches like the one on the pic given above but visible in low brightness conditions and at some times it flickers a bit ,for my iPad the patches are a bit more in number and the edge patches flicker, and am certain it has no history of water damage. Didn't know this was a common fault and others are experiencing the same. And for me the patches appeared after the warranty period, if I remember well around 2 months after.

As illustrated, your iPad appear to have an issue with some of its edge-illuminated backlight LEDs. If so, this is a hardware fault.

If within warranty, you should return the affected iPad to the retailer from whom the device was purchased. If this was Apple, given the current global crisis, your quickest route to obtaining help would be to directly contact Apple Support.
