Corrupted Facebook App

About a couple weeks ago the Notification Center and Chat stopped working in my FaceBook app on my ipad. I've done just about everything but a factory restore. I've deleted and reinstalled the app dozens of times. Rebooted the ipad dozens of times. Deleted the stored credentials for FaceBook and re-logged in. Toggled the notifications in Setting numerous times. Nothing has worked. I don't believe the corruption is in the app, but in some latent hidden stored setting on my iPad that is unconfigurable. My next step is to do a complete factory restore.

Any ideas of what else I can do?
