No Apple Gift Card After 48+ Hours....

It’s been over 2 days and I haven’t received my Apple gift card via email. I ordered it with the intention of crediting it to my own account within a family sharing scheme so I don’t have to use the family payment method for my personal expenses. The order says “processing” and said it shouldn’t take more than 4 hours, and then later came back and said 24 hours. Now it’s not made any progress, but everyone online says it should be sent to me within a day. What’s going on??!
