I have had no service on my phone for 2 weeks

How does one get apple support chat to actually work? I have had no service on my phone for 2 weeks now the only way I can get a hold of support is through chat. I have an iPhone 7 Model A1660 so I know the reason for it is a manufactures error. I have had one chance to talk on the phone with apple support. They said I had to bring it to an apple certified store to repair (since quarantine put shut down apple stores), but the hours for this are during work hours hours I need to be available. The only way for that to be possible because of the phone situation is if I am on at home, I have been trying to contact support for over a week now... 3 days since talking. I need a working phone, right now all that is working is Face-time while I am home which is a way for my work to get a hold of me so I also cant just send in my phone so they can check it, is it really that hard to own up to something apple knows is a manufacturer error, clearly I do not want to buy a new phone right now especially when it is an error on the part of apple.

Sincerely NEED A WORKING PHONE

Hello corina166 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It appears you are dealing with an iPhone 7 that is displaying a No Service message.

iPhone 7 Repair Program for "No Service" Issues - Apple Support

While Apple has extended coverage for this issue well beyond the standard warranty period, it is an issue that will require that the device be repaired. At the current time, service options in most of the world are confined to setting up mail-in service. Just so you are aware, even if Apple Stores were currently open and you were to take the device in, there would be a 3-5 day turnaround to have this issue fixed. Right now your best course of action will be to use the tools in the article linked above to set up a mail-in repair.

Cheers.
