So I've elected to block The Sun from showing in Apple News but this doesn't appear to work. See attached photo where you can clearly see the source blocked and the text that clearly states the selected sources will be blocked from Today view but with the Today view underneath showing a story from The Sun.

Unfortunately this isn't a solution. What that does is supposedly restrict your Today feed to only channels you subscribe to. I don't want to do this, I want stories from channels I don't subscribe to to appear in my feed. What I do want is no Sun stories appearing in my feed because I've blocked the Sun channel. This functionality of the app doesn't work as it's intended to and is clearly a bug.

Settings > News > Restrict Top Stories
