Cannot download Catalina from App store

But the weird thing is I let it downlown during the night and woke up to see that nothing was downloaded. I'm on a macbook air early 2015. When I tried to download Catalina, the download button is just darker and nothing happens.

But, Catalina won't download on my laptop. The download button just gets dark and nothing happens.

You may say that is takes a while to download, but I let in run last night and nothing happened. I let it run for the past 3 hours and nothing happened.

Exact same thing happening to me, the download button goes dark and nothing happens.

Don't download the combo update, just download the normal one

That's what im trying to do, Install Catalina from the Appstore but it won't work, the button just darkens and nothing happens

I’ve got the same issue, so I’m going to try this method. At least when I click to download on Mojave I can see a downloading progress bar...

did anyone get to the bottom of this? I'm having the same issue on a 2015 macbook air.

My progress: I had High Sierra, and I’ve now successfully upgraded to Mojave, I’ll be trying to upgrade to Catalina next

ok please inform me of your progress. seems like a long work around but if it works ill be happy to do that.

It has started to download Catalina, so that’s a good sign

how would i go about downloading Mojave from El Capitan? anyone know?
