Group FaceTime

I have a friend that I can FaceTime with one-on-one with my iPad calling her iPad using her email address, but when I add her to a group FaceTime her name is grade out and the video button is grayed out. Then I cannot Group FaceTime to work. Does anybody know why this is so?

Group Facetime XR I just bought an Iphone XR in April 2019 and whenever I am facetiming someone and then try to add someone else to the facetime, it does not allow me to (the option is there but it won't let me press it), therefore I have to hang up on the person I am already facetiming and start with a group one from the beginning. Group Facetime Hi! My group facetime isn't working and I was wondering if it was a software update issue or if it was my phone in general? So in every group chat I'm in, the group facetime icon is grayed out and when I try to open up a group facetime through the actual Facetime app, I'm only allowed to add one person because if I try to add 2, they become grayed out. Any ideas to fix this? I have an iPhone X and iOS 13. Thank you :)
