Apple sent left AirPod with 2D3 firmware

I’ve been dealing with this issue for about a month. Smh

Me too. I knew more through google and social media than the Apple Support person. Smh

My support tech told me 2C54 was newer than 2D3 & it should update!!!

Where do they get these guys? If that were the case, we’d all have been updated already and this would be a non issue.

Thanks. I’ll try to contact support again. It says 2 minutes for callback but I’ll going on six hours with no call yet.

That doesn’t fix it. The senior tech finally did a bunch of tests and told me I will know in 2 days if I get a brand new set thag all comes together but his is the 3rd bad set I have received

Do you have any idea for when this update comes out, I've had a pair of useless AirPods for 2 weeks.

I received 2 ear pods last week. Just 2 loose AirPods in a box. No case at all. So now the battle is trying to get a case so I can use them (if they have the correct firmware).

Have you received it yet? They told me they were sending me one and I got three separate boxes again. Of course, one was 2D3. Back it goes again.

Sadly no. He ordered the set from Apple and they installed the 2D3 firmware on both Airpods. I checked this morning and 2D3 is still not available to the public to upgrade older versions.

7 weeks, 7 advisors and 3 sets. No solution. They don’t care.

What did you do to fix it?

Did you reattempted to connect your existing airpods? if so did this work?

Im going to try it. Have you checked the firmware in your settings since they started working?
