Setting up new iPad

Is it possible to just put a few apps on the new iPad? Also can I prevent pictures and other personal things from my phone from going onto the new iPad?

You can put as many or as few apps as you like on your iPad. Even many of the built in apps can be removed should you decide to do so.

If you don’t sync apps with iCloud, you can keep photos and other items separate from both devices. If you define email as personal items, you don’t have to set up your email account on the iPad either.

What specifically would you like to exclude from the iPad?
