Moved my apple tv (3rd gen) to friends house and forgot the Apple TV Remote.
As the network on the Apple TV needs to be the same as on my phone to use Remote I need to set up the Apple TV to friends network.
How do I do that?

I’m afraid you have to get back to fetch the remote.
The Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) need a functional remote to set up the Apple TV Remote app.
For the Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), your options are:
- buy a replacement Apple Remote (aluminum);
- temporarily borrow an Apple Remote (aluminum) to help set up the app;
- restore the Apple TV and connect a wireless keyboard to help set up the app;
- restore the Apple TV and connect the CiderTV Mac app to help set up the app.
