Recently Deleted Voice Memos on iPhone 7

Where do I find a recently deleted voice memo on iPhone 7? The post on the Apple Support page says tab on the Recently Deleted to find your voice memo but I don't even see a Recently Deleted tab or folder in the voice memo app. Does anyone know where to find it?

Use the Voice Memos app - Apple Support

To enable Recently Deleted go to...Settings...Voice Memos...Clear Deleted and choose a setting other than Immediately...

You wont see the memos already deleted but you will see the next ones you delete...make a quick memo as a test then delete it...
