iPhone XR Music

Hello, for the longest time I was always easily able to sync music to my iPhones. My current iPhone XR IOS 13.3 always worked with syncing music from iTunes, and not too long ago in started to not. I connected my old iPhone 6s IOS 13.3 to test if it would sync music and it synced the music perfectly.

So the issue is affecting my iPhone XR which is running IOS 13.3

When I am in iTunes with my iPhone XR connected and I am in the 'Music' tab under On My Device, every song has the grey dotted circle next to it.

Syncing music from Mac/PC has nothing to do with iOS versions.

If you have enabled Apple Music iCloud Library you may not be able to sync. Watch the GIF below.

  • Mac Book Air Retina 13" macOS Catalina
  • iPhone SE with iOS 13.3 :- Does not use iCloud Library hence syncs
  • iPhone 6 with iOS 12.4.4 :- use iCloud Music Library hence do not sync
