no option to Stream/listen to music with monthly subscription on a Mac Pro

Every time I attempt to listen to music (which I have done months prior to this):

*search for artist I'm interested in,

*it takes me to the Album Purchase Page.

*There is never an option to listen to the music, just buy it/preview it (a truncated version).

If I click on the album art itself it takes me to a similar page with a red "LISTEN NOW" button, BUT that doesn't work and sends me to my own music library of songs I've already purchased years ago.

What am I missing? ...see pic for reference.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you have a question about streaming/listening to music in Apple Music, when currently you are only getting the option to preview or purchase. I'd be happy to help.

If you are looking to stream music as part of an Apple Music subscription on your Mac, you may find the following articles helpful. In particular, make sure that you are using the Browse option, or when using Search that you select to search Apple Music and not your local library. Some songs may also have an action menu item of Show in Apple Music or Show in iTunes Store, giving you the option to stream or purchase. Also, if you have already purchased a song/album, it may be expected behavior for it to play the local copy, rather than try and stream it from Apple Music.
