I have a bunch of random pictures on my iPhone so I tried to delete them to clear up space, but it won’t let me

i broke my iphone 8s screen so i switched to my old 7. when i did i linked all the images and stuff to my 7. the storage of the 7 is only 32gb while my 8 was 64. it immediately said full storage so i began offloading apps and deleting unused apps to clear of storage. now it says i used 28gb of the 32gb. i have a bunch of random pictures on my phone so i tried to delete them to clear up space, but it won’t let me. i also can’t screenshot or save any photos or upload any from my camera roll to instagram or anything. and i’ve looked at so many videos for help and nothing’s working or it’s something i’ve already done. please help

It depends on how the pictures were put on the iPhone 7. If you synced them from your computer to your iPhone 7 long ago, that's how you have to remove them, which is to un-sync them using your home computer and iTunes.

If that could be how the photos got on the phone, see this link --> Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support
