Battery Drain since Upgrade to 13.4.1

Since upgrading to the latest iOS on both my wife's iPhones 8 Plus and iPads 6th gen, all four devices are now suffering from a significant (and much higher than immediately previous) battery drain. I have tried hard resets and full re-boots to no perciveable improvment on the now poor power consumption.

Any tips? Are there others havingt the same problem? I have seen a similar and recent disussion thread in iPad Community group.....

Dear MoonJ,

Thank you for your response and the link to the article. Most of these we routinely do on our four devices (2 x iPhone 8Plus; 2 x Gen 6 iPads),

I have gone and rechecked that most of the settings are set to reduce the draw on battery power. Regrettably this has not arrested the significantly increased battery drain since updating iOS to 13.4 /13.4.1.

The fact is the battery drain increase on all devices and was noticed from about 5 days ago and coincided with when I went through the update to 13.4.1 on all my devices. I have a sneaking suspicion that the update is a change the level of ambient CPU activity in the devices and this is supported by the graphs on battery charging, screen time on/off, and battery use. I am at a loss as to what to do as the iPads and iPhones are using approximately 22 to 25% of charge every hour (even when not in active use and their screens are off..... Help me Apple (or anyone else) as a phone that requires charging every 5-6 hours (without use) is just not workable...

I have recently updates my iphone X to 13.4.1. and the battery drain after the installation had been instant. This morning I have hardly used the phone and battery life is down to 54% and the back fo the phone now gets hot when I use it for any length of time

I have looked at all the ideas to improve performance and followed them but nothing is working.

When are you going to provide an update to resolve this. It's a very serious issue Apple?

Phones are so important to those of us who are stuck at home in lockdown. Please resolve this quickly.
