Thank you for your response and the link to the article. Most of these we routinely do on our four devices (2 x iPhone 8Plus; 2 x Gen 6 iPads),
I have gone and rechecked that most of the settings are set to reduce the draw on battery power. Regrettably this has not arrested the significantly increased battery drain since updating iOS to 13.4 /13.4.1.
The fact is the battery drain increase on all devices and was noticed from about 5 days ago and coincided with when I went through the update to 13.4.1 on all my devices. I have a sneaking suspicion that the update is a change the level of ambient CPU activity in the devices and this is supported by the graphs on battery charging, screen time on/off, and battery use. I am at a loss as to what to do as the iPads and iPhones are using approximately 22 to 25% of charge every hour (even when not in active use and their screens are off..... Help me Apple (or anyone else) as a phone that requires charging every 5-6 hours (without use) is just not workable...
