13.4.1 update iPad safari pages now to small.

Finally relented and updated to 13.4.1 on iPad. Immediate regret. My most used application safari and thus google pages are now ridiculously small compared to the screen size. Does any one know a fix that does not involve just making the entire page zoomed in.The size was perfect before. Now when I search for something on google from on the safari app the page has to much unnecessary white space to the right and left. What the happened between updates to get rid of mobile view for iPad users? Even this page seems to be set at desktop level size font vs mobile view font.
