Continuous video recording

I have found that on some cameras when recording continuous video the camera will have a max single file size (4GB or 10 min of 4K recording). Once this limit is hit the file will be closed and a new one started and there is some loss of video to this process. Does anyone know if this is the same on the new iPhones?


If I record for 1 hour will I end up with one massive .mov file? Thanks!

The limit and how much video you can record to 4K may differ on how much storage space you have available on your iPhone. Your continuous recording should all be one file. You may want to check your iPhone storage and optimize or clear up some space and see if this has any impact on how much 4K video you can record. Take a look over these links for more info:
