I've linked my youtube video for example, but basically whenever I import audio from mp3 files of any kind they just glitch and sound horrendous. ANY HELP APPRECIATED

You are on Catalina? If so, it is a well known problem. One workaround is to convert the file to Wave or AIFF before importing. Also, users report that the recent version (10.4.8) fixes the problem.

thanks, I'm no pro so i didn't know that converting to Wav. file would help solve the issue. Regards, Jamie.
