No "show IOS devices" option in finder sidebar preferences

Hi, I hope you can help me. My iPhone is not showing in finder sidebar on my iMac. I have searched the internet and everyone suggest solving the problem by clicking in the finder sidebar preferences and enabling IOS devices, but I only have as and option to enable CD's, DVD's and iPods. I do not have IOS devices listed. I am using El Capitan 10.11.6.

I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me.

Thank you in advance

Hello,

Device management in Finder was introduced in macOS 10.15 Catalina. On legacy macOS versions device management is performed through iTunes.
