160GB used space by “other” in a 250GB MacBook

About this Mac / Storage is showing 160GB used by "Other"

Cmd I on Macintosh HD says the same : only 40GB available (I have only few documents and mail and all my dropbox is online with smart sync activated)

BUT

Sum of Library + System + Users + Applications says only 35 GB (which is the truth)

Omnidisk sweeper says the same : nothing on my computer. 35Gb used

I run disk utility. My disk is perfect

I delete all local snapshot just in case

I update to Catalina to see if it will solve the problem and it doesn't.

How can I delete these "Other" GB ? Where are they ?

Perhaps an application is using it up. Try this:

  1. Finder->Go->Go To Folder... ~/Library/Application Support
  2. Switch to 'List' view of folders
  3. Finder->View->ShowView Options Make sure 'Calculate all sizes' is checked and the 'Size' column is checked
  4. Click on the Size column of the folder list to sort and see what's taking up the storage.
