no sound no mic
All of a sudden I have no sound from my computer and mi mic is not working.
I opened up Sound on System Preferences and there is nothing there.
Any chance I can get this fixed without going to a store?

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
