FaceTime video quality

When I make a FaceTime call, for some reason the person I am speaking to looks very clear. But looking at myself in the camera it is very grainy. Also when I use Photo Booth the camera quality is not good at all. What should I do?

Hello kaliyah98,

It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help others answer your question:

  • Which device are you experiencing this with, and which software version is it running?
  • Does the other person on the FaceTime call report that you also appear grainy on their end?
  • If you're using an iOS device, do you experience the same issue when using the Camera app?
