iphone I tried to connect an apple refurb se 1gen watch to an iphone 7with IOS15- minimum is supposed to be iphone 6s but it wouldn't pair. I did manage to pair it iphone 8 but the watch upgraded to watch OS9 . What do I need to do to pair it with the iphone 7 correctly ?

No that's not possible,an apple watch is an exclusive accessory of the iphone and will not pair or function with any other device.
