New iOS version update error

Hello all.

We have been trying to update iPhone 7 to the newest version but it doesn't finish. It asks to continue via the PC. We try all possible ways but it still gives an error and asks to restore the phone but turns out we lose all the content of the device.

This is not our fault and the fault is in Apple end. Pls tell me how to restore/restart the iPhone without losing any data. I have a lot of important data in the device, the photos and videos were not fully saved in iCloud.

The Apple Support article Get help with iOS updates - Apple Support provides links to help with both over-the-air updates (which are done from the iPhone itself) and updates done using your computer.

If you are unable to update and are asked to restore the iPhone, you must restore the iPhone. If you have not already created a backup, you can try to do so first. If you need more iCloud storage to back up to iCloud, you can upgrade: Buy more iCloud storage - Apple Support or use your computer instead: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.
