My ipad

i was just using my iPad and then plugged it in to charge. When I came back it wouldn’t turn on. Nothing is on the screen at all it’s just black. This has happened before and I took it in to apple and the man said it was just because my storage was higher. He then plugged it into a laptop and went on to the music app and managed to turn my iPad on. I saw my storage was high earlier today and was just clearing some of my iCloud at the moment this happened. As if corona I can not take it into a store. Has anyone got anything to suggest?
