Facial recognition stopped working

My facial recognition stopped working on my iPhone X all of a sudden. I’ve had it since it came out and never had a problem before tonight.

This was not helpful for this problem. The Face ID has worked correctly for over two years now, and all of a sudden today stopped working. I am familiar with how to reset it etc, I was looking for a possible reason why it would just stop working.
