GMAIL STORAGE FULL

I am getting message that my storage is full from GMAIL and i cant receive any more email or sent emails.

i am using mail to manage my gmail mails and either move mail from Inbox into the mail folders or trash unwanted mails. I have empty my trash as well.

but seems that it has no impact to my GMAIL storage, when i log in from safari into my gmail account.

How to manage the GMAIL from MAIL, so my storage wont get full.

Thank you for the help.

Thank you for the reply. I shall look into the gmail help community.

apart from this in mail

Can you inform how the archive is working/used?

when i trash my emails from the inbox, it is still being stored into the archive? How can i avoid that?

Also if i move emails from the Inbox into the mail folders does it means that it is being stored in the mac and not using my Gmail Storage?
