Spilled water on MacBook Air. Not charging

I spilled water on my MacBook Air keyboard last night. I immediately turned it up side down, shook it and then wiped the keyboard. It worked fine for a few minutes but then it went blank and restarted on its own. It then started working fine again. Now it’s been a little less than 24 hours and I realized it won’t charge when I plug it up. Is it too late to save it? I just shut it down and put it upside down in a tent position but it’s been sitting normally for about 24 hrs.
