iPhone 6 Plus screen locks up

I bought a iPhone 6 Plus from Walmart it is a refurbished I also bought a warranty with it, which I’m not sure how that works but my problem is my phone will lock up sometimes when I open it or get a all that I can’t answer , then sometimes it gets really crazy it will start failing crazy numbers and it will jump to web and go back to railing and opening apps wild to watch/ I’ve only had phone 2 months I have done a restore on computer I’ve done a dfu restore I’ve also did a cloud restore my he also done it as new phone. It is a 64 gig I’ve tried taking apps out one at a time but it just goes crazy sometimes but the problem I will face soon is I’m having bypass heart surgery need to see if I can fix this myself I’m sure it will take longer than two weeks to fix I’d like to have it with me so I can contact people so they don’t worry . I probably should call apple store see if there open but with this virus thing I might be out of luck for a while. If any one has had issues like this and got it working again I’d like to hear , I don’t know what the phone had done before I got it but it looks brand new no scratches it’s in good shape . Thank you for looking

Thank you self taking the time I know it sounds a bit crazy having phone start typing out of the blue going to websites screen freezing . The phone is in like new condition and when I received it it was working like new. I followed all the links and wrote down each step and after a day of reading none of them worked. But I did fix it finally I should have thought of this I have always used 2 screen protectors one of the flexible and the one that comes with otter box defender . I read a post somewhere talking about different screen issues more blurring issues, so while phone is out of the box it worked fine no freezing or random typing, so I took the flexible off put back in case and it started freezing right away , I took it back out works fine . I’ve never had this issue before I’ve always had 2 protectors no problems. So I guess I’ll have to buy a different case, I bought that case from eBay so I’m thinking it’s a clone case it didn’t have the clip with it and it was only 13 bucks it has all the trademarks and other stamps but these days it’s not hard to clone a good seller. I’m guessing this has a static issue some how but I guess I’ll have to wait till I get a case and see if it happens again. For now I’ll see what’s a popular case that will keep screen from taking a shot if dropped. I have till May 7 th then I’ll be down for the count... I’m very sorry that this was a issue I should have thought of/ again thank you for helping...

Hi vtails,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand the screen on your iPhone 6 Plus is performing actions on its own. I'd like to help.

It sounds like you took some good steps, such as restoring the device and setting it up as new to test. Taking a look over this related article: If the screen isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, I would suggest completing any remaining steps listed. This would include, making sure the screen is free of debris and dirt Cleaning your iPhone - Apple Support, disconnecting any accessories from your device, and removing any case and screen protector on the device. This can help isolate and rule out other possible causes.

If you've already completed each step listed, but the behavior remains, you should reach out to Walmart to discuss the details of the warranty you purchased with your device. Otherwise, feel free to contact Apple directly: Contact - Official Apple Support.

Best regards.
