Right AirPod not working and getting heated

This is weird. My right AirPod stopped working completely yesterday. Initially I thought it was a charging problem because it might have not been charged properly. I put in my case for sometime and when I checked, to my surprise it wasn’t even getting detected. Seemed like the right one doesn’t exist at all. Another thing I noticed was that it getting warm when put in the charging case. I’m getting worried about this and I really hope it doesn’t damage my ear. Is there any solution for this?
