Upgrade to Catalina 10.15.4.

Upgraded my iMac a few days ago to Catalina 10.15.4.

Since then the 'Guest user' facility on the opening screen is no longer available.

is this an oversight or intentional?

I would check to see if the Guest User feature is turned on by going to System Preferences > Users & Groups

(Then make sure to check your Login Options on the same screen)
