RdrCEF Memory Hog

The RdrCEF process is growing out of control on my new 2019 27" iMac. When it arrived two weeks ago with 8GB of memory RdrCEF grew to over 6GB. After I upgraded to 24 GB it grew to over 20GB. What's going on? When I restart my computer it goes to zero and starts growing again. I see it may be tied to Adobe Acrobat.

Any suggestions or do I just need to restart my iMac every day?

You may need to use 'Activity Monitor' and see what's going on.

Also if you do not require Acrobat (reader?) you can use Preview.

For troubleshooting, you can 'force-quit' Acrobat, to see if it helps.

If you want to see what processes are going on, in Mac; Activity

Monitor will show most everything. To see if anything untoward

is running or badware, adware, malware; get and use EtreCheck.

There may also a need to get & use Malwarebytes for Mac.

Good luck & happy computing!🌻🌤
